This is the temporary portfolio of one Laura Toivola of Helsinki, Finland. She despises making web pages, so the temporary one will likely stay here until she finds someone else to make it to her liking. It portrays some of her works in traditional and computer generated art and visualisation, animation, craft and jewellery making, and her bastard lovechild, the Oddunout comic strip.

Who is this person anyway?

Laura is (currently) a 3D animation student at the Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, due to graduate in Spring 2011. She is also an aspiring artist. She was born, well, barely in the 70's, in Finland, and has then immigrated to Scotland, Copenhagen, Finland, Seoul, and back to Finland again. She can speak languages, some of which are also known by other humans. She is interested in everything really, currently in Asian art and culture, history in general (Finnish and Asian history in particular), in Asian languages. I suppose you could say she is in her Asian period. She also photographs and is an enthusiastic interior designer. Demon excorcism and dragon taming are something she does on her free time, aside from playing video games and accruing more books and films into her already extensive collection.

How can she be reached?

In case you feel she should be safely escorted to a more secure environment, you can send email to laura (at) dragostries.com.

Does she usually refer to herself in the third person?

No, but it does look much fancier, doesn't it?
